Infractions
Infractions are GatorSys's moderation record. Every warn, mute, kick, or ban becomes a numbered case you can look up, edit, and expire — so moderation is consistent and accountable.
Taking an action
Issue an infraction with an action type, a reason, and optional notes. The bot logs the case, notifies the member if configured, and applies the Discord consequence where relevant.

Notes are internal context; the reason is what's logged and (optionally) shown to the member.

Set an expiration if the action is temporary.
Temporary mutes or lapsing warnings expire on their own, so they don't quietly become permanent.
